Big Four Keynote: Records Reimagined: Transforming and Elevating the Strategic Value of Records Management through Innovation, AI and Connection

Today’s information governance landscape is being reshaped by rapid technological advancement, shifting regulatory and compliance expectations, and growing demands for innovation and efficiency. This keynote explores the trends driving transformation and specifically, their impact on records management and how information professionals are adapting in real time.
We'll discuss how AI and machine learning are being applied to enhance governance capabilities and demonstrate value, and how archiving technology strategies can offer scalable, low-friction solutions for long-term information stewardship. Additional focus areas include data minimization as a strategic imperative and the intersection of contracts and records where information is not just managed but insights are gleaned, and data-driven business decisions are made.
This session will provide practical insight into how IG professionals are leading change, influencing enterprise priorities, and creating governance programs that are agile, integrated, and built for today’s challenges.

As the Managing Director responsible for Records & Contracts for the Deloitte U.S. Firms, Kelly is responsible for Deloitte’s hard copy and electronic records management program including record destruction and hold efforts, acquisition and divestiture projects, risk mitigation activities, and compliance initiatives. Kelly is also currently leading an effort to digitize and modernize the end-to-end contract management lifecycle. This transformative initiative encompasses the development of a strategic program that will ultimately support the authoring and management of all Deloitte agreements. Additionally, Kelly is the Confidentiality, Privacy and Risk Leader for Finance & Administration.

Mike Allen, MBA, CRM, IGP has over 30 years of IG/RIM experience as a practitioner, consultant and business unit leader. His primary areas of expertise include enterprise RIM program management, records retention scheduling, integration of records and data lifecycle management, records center management, and records enablement technology analysis and implementation. He currently serves on the ARMA Certification Oversight Committee and has served in leadership positions at the chapter level.

Laurie Gingrich has built her career in information management within professional services firms, serving as a librarian, IT business analyst, and currently as Records and Information Management Director at PwC. In her role she focuses on regulatory compliance, policy development, and lifecycle management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align records strategy with business needs and industry standards. Laurie has also served as a PwC consultant, advising clients across industries on records management policy and technology.
A lifelong learner, Laurie holds a B.A. in French and German, an MA in Library Science, and an MA in Jurisprudence, Privacy and Technology Law. She values the challenges and variety the records management field offers.
