Getting to Phoenix

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)

Sky Harbor, dubbed America's Friendliest Airport, is the main airport for the Greater Phoenix area. Sky Harbor serves more than 120 domestic and international destinations. With 1,200 daily flights—about 500 of them nonstop—Sky Harbor is one of the most convenient airports in the United States.

Sky Harbor is served by 18 competitively priced carriers. The airport is located in the middle of Greater Phoenix, less than 10 minutes from downtown.

Airport to Downtown:
Taxi / Ride-share (Uber, Lyft): ~$20–$25 to downtown hotels.

Light Rail (Valley Metro): $2 one-way or $4 day pass — board at Terminal 3 or 4 and ride straight to downtown.

Rental Cars & Shuttles: Available at all terminals (PHX SkyTrain® connects terminals to car rental center).

Getting Around Phoenix

Taxis & Ride-Sharing:
Uber and Lyft are reliable and available throughout the city.

Public Transit (Valley Metro):
Phoenix’s light rail system is an affordable, eco-friendly way to explore.

Light rail runs from PHX airport through downtown and beyond.

$2 for a single ride or $4 for a full-day pass.

Walking:
Downtown Phoenix is walkable with restaurants, museums, and coffee spots all within blocks of the Sheraton and Hyatt.

Weather: October is beautiful — average highs of 86°F (30°C) and cool, dry evenings around 63°F (17°C)
